The Tarrant County College, dental hygiene program in Texas, has been accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA). The program’s length is two (2)-years and students will be learning in both an in-class setting and clinical lab. After successfully completing the course, students will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental hygiene. They will also be ELIGIBLE to SIT for the National Board examination and regional and/or state licensing exams.

Admission Requirements:

Once you are accepted as a student at TCC, you will get a TCC Student ID number. You will need a TCC Student ID number for your application to Dental Hygiene.

We recommend 3.5 or higher overall GPA.

You must meet the TSI requirements for enrolling in college credit courses.

HESI A2 V1 is the required admissions exam for the program.
